This tax year is set to be the most challenging year for getting your return processed and your tax refund received.

Why is this year going to the most challenging tax filing year?

The IRS is still wadding through backlogs of 6 million unprocessed original individual returns (Forms 1040), 2.3 million unprocessed amended individual returns (Forms 1040-X), more than 2 million unprocessed employer's quarterly tax returns (Forms 941 and 941-X), and about 5 million pieces of taxpayer correspondence – with some of these submissions dating back at least to April and many taxpayers still waiting for their refunds nine months later, as reported by the National Taxpayer Advocate a few weeks ago.

Whew!

2022 Tax Filing Tips:
1. File early
2. File online (free online filing for AGIs $73k or less)
3. File with direct deposit info (for refunds/payments)

If your AGI exceeds the above threshold, we can file your return electronically for you.

Click the link below to complete our questionnaire and receive a formal tax prep quote in 24 hours or less with 24 to 48 hour return processing after all tax documents/information are received, for your personal return and small businesses (we especially love helping crypto investors, miners, and traders --- keep in mind, your 1099K will be reported to the IRS this year for crypto trades over $600, we can help with your 2022 1040ES quarterly payment, due the same time as your 2021 return).

What is AGI?

Generally, AGI is your gross income (W2 box 1 and/or pass-through income) before the standard deduction or itemized deductions.
